SENSEX HITS 19,000

TAKES 4 DAYS TO MOVE FROM 18,000 TO 19,000

Sensex ended 640 points or 3.47 per cent higher at 19,058.67. The index rose to a high of 19,095.75. The low for the day was 18,525.61. Nifty closed 242 points or 4.46 per cent up at 5670.40. The index touched a high of 5682.65. The low was 5419.90.
The overall rally has been phenomenal as the bulls have got more heady pushing markets to new heights crossing some milestones in a very short span of time. The huge monetary flows and abundant liquidity continue to take markets at new peaks.
