UTI Mutual Fund has announced the dividend under dividend option of UTI Opportunities Fund. The record date for the declaration of dividend is 1 July 2008. The quantum of dividend will be 18% i.e. Rs.1.80 per unit of distributable surplus available on the record date. The NAV was at Rs 12.3800 on 23 June 2008.
UTI Opportunities Fund is an open -ended equity oriented scheme. The investment objective of the scheme is to generate capital appreciation and/or income distribution by investing the fund of scheme in equity shares and equity related instruments. The main focus of this scheme is to capitalize on opportunities arising in the market by responding to the dynamically changing Indian economy by moving its investments amongst different sectors as prevailing trends change.
