Standard Chartered Asset Management on Tuesday said it has re-opened its equity fund, Standard Chartered Premier Equity Fund (SCPEF) for subscription through lumpsum investment as well as systematic investment plan.
The SCPEF will be open for subscription from today and will close after collection of a predetermined manageable corpus, which will be decided by the fund manager of the scheme, a release said here.
The fund was launched in September 2005. Standard Chartered AMC's Managing Director, Naval Bir Kumar, said "SCPEF has enjoyed a solid track-record. This fund continues to perform extremely well, given the current volatile market scenario. We are very confident that the re-opening of the fund will only benefit the investors, both existing and new."
