Sometimes, I see the price quoted to buy in intraday's call is already gone up when the market opens. Should those type of calls be placed before the market opens?

If a stock opens at / near tgt then its not advicable to enter it.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. Can you also kindly let me know as to how market sometimes has a gap down or gap up opening. NSE index goes up or down depending upon the stocks bought or sold. If there is a gap up or down opening, it means, shares are already bought or sold. When does that happen?
